Goodman Ministries was planted in the hearts of my parents, Howard and Vestal Goodman, over 50 years ago. The seed they planted was the word of the Lord. That foundation is firm, for He said, “Upon this rock I will build my church.”

The torch my parents lit has been passed to me, and it is my desire to see that the flame still burns and shines around the world, brighter than ever. Goodman Family Ministries and Vestal & Friends are moving forward with the mission to touch the hearts of the hurting. Some of the missions Goodman Ministries is touching today - Smoky Mountain Children’s Orphanage, World Vision International, Voices of Lee Singers, Vestal Goodman Scholarship, and Speer School of Music, were my parents’ and this ministry’s passions.

I will never forget the last concert appearance of the Happy Goodmans. That night Goodman Family Ministries raised over $30,000.00 for the Smoky Mountain Children’s Orphanage.
