It is a great joy to carry the torch of The Happy Goodman's' Ministry "The Journey Continues" Here are a couple of letters from the pastors as they wrote of God's blessings on the services. We are so pleased that He is using us in a special way to build faith and encourage His people. God is doing a great work through Goodman Family Ministries thank you for your prayers and support. Rick & Dianne, Just wanted to tell you both again how very much we enjoyed having you here with us this past Saturday at The Springs. Our folks are still talking about the presentation and I want you both to know the effects were much more far-reaching than any of us could imagine! During the Bible Study on Sunday, Bro. Elliott, the Englishman, began to weep and shared his testimony of how God touched his life during the event. That was followed by others testifying as well and one gentleman told us how God healed his knee during the service. He was scheduled for surgery on June 1, but has since cancelled it and has been working in the lawn (something he hasn't done in quite a long time). He continues to praise God for healing! Pastors Ron & Linda Pledger Dear Rick and Dianne, It was a first that we will always remember. A Journey Of Faith was more than wonderful for the Folks who gathered to worship as we celebrated His touch on Goodman Family Ministries his special day in New Jersey. We were very privileged and excited to have been blessed by the ministry of Rick and Dianne Goodman. Being reminded that God calls families to serve Him was so evident by the strong and sweet anointing as they ministered to our congregation here at Christian Life Center. Rick shared not only of his Godly heritage but also of the life that sustains us through our relationship with Jesus Christ. Many were encouraged to keep this truth in the forefront of their lives. In the message, the Holy Spirit kept emphasizing the powerful truth of forgiveness and keeping your heart free of anything that would displease God. The Holy Spirit led Rick to minister forgiveness. He spoke of how certain situations in his own family and ministry could have left him hurt and bitter. He shared how forgiving others brought freedom to him and others and how forgiveness allowed the Holy Spirit to bring joy again. Loving Jesus and others spoke so loudly that Sunday. A number of people were visibly and audibly moved and came forward making sure their hearts were right and free from unforgiveness. All who were present knew God had spoken. At the end of the service, our congregation surrounded this wonderful couple with hugs and testimonies of what the message had meant to them. It is evident to see that Rick and Dianne have received the mantle of the Goodman ministry. We saw by through the sweet anointing on Rick and Dianne's life that truly "The Journey Continues". Howard and Vestal were so faithful and dedicated to the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Vestal & Howard The Happy Goodman's A Journey of Faith is a video presentation beginning with Mom and Dad's life together and the many roads it took them down, continuing through the most recent years of my parents with some never before seen video footage and pictures that are so wonderful. I will be narrating this presentation. There will be a special time for those who wish to ask questions. I want to share information and insight in the Life and Legacy of the Goodman Family.
Though the years Mom received so many special letters and phone calls from her friends telling of how God had changed their lives through her ministry of a particular song and a special word that she had for them. I will be speaking, sharing Gods word and letting you their friends ask the questions you have always wanted to ask my parents. Telling the funny stories that my Dad shared with me, about traveling the road for over eighty years preaching and singing the gospel. From the old brush arbor sawdust meeting, tent revivals and the great stories that will encourage you in your walk with the Lord! I'll be talking about my Mom's powerful faith and determination, which kept her going through every physical attack on her earthly body, but never giving in one time to defeat! The scriptures say's that "The joy of the Lord is our strength and I know that after you leave this special Journey of Faith meeting God will left your spirits higher than they have ever been before.
